Skates are available when Rink Attendants are on duty - see Rink Attendant Window located on the NE corner of the building. Skate rental at Groveland Ice Rinks is FREE of charge. We also have hockey sticks and pucks available for check-out. Renters are asked to provide some form of collateral – typically this is a driver’s license or student ID. But we will also take car keys, cell phones or credit cards to hold until the skates (or other equipment) are returned. Skate and equipment rental is a FREE service provided solely by the Groveland Ice Rinks volunteer organization – this is not City property. The Groveland Ice Rinks Volunteers solicit donations to help supplement the cost of skate sharpening equipment and upgrades such as new skates, laces and ongoing maintenance. The intent is to make ice skating available to all who would like to participate in this great winter, outdoor, family oriented activity. |
